The Pan-African Women Network of the Americas (PAWNA) brings together African and African-descendant women across North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean. We are a growing network of women committed to leadership, economic opportunity, education, advocacy, and community.
Connecting African Women.
We bring together professionals, entrepreneurs, academics, community leaders, students, and advocates who believe that when women have access to opportunities, mentorship, and strong networks, entire communities benefit.
PAWNA was established to strengthen the voice and visibility of African women and women of African descent across the Americas.
Our work combines advocacy, leadership development, research, partnerships, and practical programmes that encourage women to participate fully in business, public life, and community development.
